I bought another boat, had to rethink where my electrical panel was going to live, built a form to bend my mainsheet track, hung the boom to get a mainsheet measurement and installed some fiddles.
I am bending the main track so that I can put the tiller all the way in the upright position. Installed as it was it passes directly over the rudder post and stops the tiller from going up at around 60 degrees.
I lost another boat neighbor today. this blue boat has been sitting there for years and is about as big a project as mine. It’s getting lonelier out here, although I’ll have new friends soon if I don’t get a move on.
