She’s Live!

It was raining more or less all day today, making it a good day for some inside jobs. I ran a lot of wire and managed to get some things fired up. Also a huge thanks to Darlene for the warm tea, donut and muffin. Darlene, Melissa and Bruce are far too nice to me for no reason, but its much appreciated. Thank you.

The instrument panel is ready to go, I just need a bit more 2 AWG to get power the starter and then I can test run the engine. The last time it ran was last about a year ago when I bought the boat, although I shut it down pretty quickly after discovering an exhaust leak.

The DC panel has power, and I’ve started running circuits for this. The mast loads, Nav lights, cabin lights and fans are all completed.

The AC panel also has power, with the inverter and battery charger wired up.

The terminal block with all the service loops is the where the instrument panel harness connects to the main runs. These service loops make things look a little less tidy, but they make working on things down the road much easier. Function over form.

I threw some bonus pictures of last nights sunset in downtown Holland in as well
