Picked up this small holding tank at a place called Wolfe's marine in St. Joseph MI for a very good price.
A shelf I glassed in for the new fuel tank.
Photo's of the ignition panel/gauge cluster for later reference.
They sold me the wrong hose! I ordered A1, rated for continuous standing fuel and use in engine compartments.
This battery shelf is made from some honeycomb cored frp & carbon panel offcut. It's incredibly light.
Floor register installed for battery compartment ventilation.
This blower hose is like the biggest slinky you've ever handled. you can fit about 50' of it in a shoebox. I was pleased to find out that the coil appears to have some kind of copper coating. hopefully it doesn't rust out like the old one did.
A look down the carburetor. I decided to clean it out after this...
Took the opportunity to drain the oil from the sump while I had the engine hoisted to make some alignment adjustments.
The prop shaft is in!
Some old wire I pulled out today. Most of it is in good enough condition to re-use. It is all stranded, but not tin coated like today's marine grade wire.
